“A simple treatment changed my life“
Thorbjörn Lindgren had to run to the toilet every fifteen minutes like clockwork. He also had trouble with both leakage and urinary urgency. Thanks to a simple treatment, he is today completely problem-free.
For many men, the prostate swells after the age of 60, causing the prostate to squeeze around the urethra and the vas deferens. The bladder is often affected, and many find it difficult to urinate and empty the bladder. This phenomenon is called benign prostatic hyperplasia, which in simple terms means prostate enlargement that is harmless, but difficult to live with.

Despite suffering from an enlarged prostate, Sören Broman was never informed of treatment with microwaves. When he heard about the method by chance, he got help immediately. All for the cost of a regular doctor’s visit.

Prostate treatment with microwaves can eliminate urinary urgency and the need to get up in the middle of the night to urinate. All it takes is a ten-minute treatment under local anaesthesia.

I promised to follow up on my previous submissions after I was treated with ProstaLund’s CoreTherm® heat treatment. I received my treatment yesterday. 60 minutes later I was done and went home. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the whole process.
A team of four people, a doctor, an assistant doctor (maybe an apprentice), a nurse and a sedative nurse took care of me. They performed a step-by-step treatment. I was awake and stunned. The problems I had can be described as intense urination during and after treatment. A feeling of urination was noticeable even after the treatment but now, the day after, I have no problems at all.
I will carry a catheter for three to six weeks and a bag on the inside of the thigh, but it does not feel very bothersome.
It feels fantastic that an hour of treatment can take away ten years of constant toilet visits, day and night. And the knowledge that that time of trouble is over, and on the contrary not increasing, the rest of my life. That hour will give me a greatly increased quality of life as well as the feeling of not having to be an old man with old man problems.
